February 12, 2022 The Kids & Me (TK&M) hosted its first ever Hearty Party Volunteer Appreciation Event. Many thanks to CityChurch Charlotte for sharing their facility for the event and to Amy Rognstad for her all day efforts at preparing and cleaning up after the party!
This gathering was for TK&M volunteers across the region to meet along with TK&M moms and children from the various groups. Moms and children who participate in TK&M activities such as Live Laugh Latte small groups or mentorships were invited to come out and share some love for our volunteers.
Shawn Ervin https://www.facebook.com/shawn.ervin.1694 provided lovely music with his tenor sax and the food from Taste Moore Soul https://www.facebook.com/tastemooresoul was yummy! This was a great opportunity to meet others in The Kids & Me organization and to see the community God is building.
