Our Vision is that through the power of the Holy Spirit,
The Kids & Me shall make a positive difference in the lives
of single moms and their children.
MISSION
Our Mission is to foster positive relationships among Single Moms, to advocate on their behalf, and to address their family needs.
THE REASON
As of 2018, America had over 15 million single moms raising over 22 million of America's youth. Said another way, 1 of every 4 parents is unmarried and 1 of every 5 children lives with a single mom. Single parent households frequently experience poverty and 40% of single parents are employed in low-wage jobs and often have no access to paid leave. Childcare costs can be more than half a single mom's income annually. These burdens compel us to come alongside a single mom to support her in this journey of raising her children.

WHO WE ARE
The Kids & Me is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation registered in the state of North Carolina. As such, all donations made to The Kids & Me are tax deductible. Funds support the ongoing costs of events and other activities provided for the single moms and their children of Charlotte and the surrounding area.
WHAT WE DO
The Kids & Me utilizes a three-facet approach to ministering to single mom families:

1) Creating community for single mom families by providing opportunities to gather for fun, for fellowship, for education, & for improving life skills.....

EVENTS ;

2) Generating and publicizing updated guides to local, state, & federal programs and aids to single mom families.....
​

3) Gathering and organizing Church Partners, Volunteers, and Business Partners to stand alongside single moms in professional relationships and services.....
