I’m Dana McNeill, and my story of motherhood and single parenting is quite unique - just like yours. No two people approach this path or travel this journey with the same experience. However, the one thing that we all know is that it takes guts, tenacity, and maturity - as well as lots of grace - to come out better at the end. I have been remarried now for many years. John and I share a son and we raised my two girls as if they were ours together. I’m a very proud Mama of 3 amazing adult children and and MeeMa to 4 handsome grandsons. God has brought more restoration into our broken lives than I can ever share. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your restoration story as well.

My name is Valerie Agresta-Franck. I understand how it is to be a Single Mom and to take care of all the needs of caring for a family. I lived through many of the obstacles that you may be enduring as I raised my two children into adulthood. Now I am remarried and am an OMA to two beautiful grandbabies. I look forward to listening and sharing to help you navigate the path God has for you.

Hey there! I am Ashley Therrell, I have worked alongside families in ministry for almost 5 years. In this time I have seen what any family needs truly is support. This is what we hope to bring you and your family through Embrace Grace. We want to create a safe space for single moms to grow, learn, and fellowship together! My best friend growing up was raised by a single mother. I saw the strength it took every minute of every day for her to bring up her daughter. I also observed how difficult it was for her to receive the support she truly needed. Our goal is to break that cycle, to serve single mothers, and to provide moms with a space to decompress, to be refilled, and to grow in community with each other.

Amy Rognstad
Hi! I'm Amy Rognstad. I am a licensed foster parent, which means sometimes I'm a single mom and sometimes I'm just single! I've had many glimpses into the world of single motherhood, and I am blown away by the strength and endurance single mom's have to possess in order to raise their children. It's my hope that the single mom's ministry at CityChurch Charlotte can provide a source of encouragement and rejuvenation for single mom's in our community, and that our church will be part of "the village" that we all know it takes to raise children.
